Dr. Georgina Lynch is an SLP by training, associate professor in
the Department of Speech and Hearing Science at WSU, and a founding director of
the WSU Autism and Neurodevelopmental Program of Excellence. Dr. Lynch runs the
Integrative Brain Function and Neurodevelopmental Disorders lab at WSU where
she conducts exciting work using eye-tracking technology to help explain
underlying brain function in ASD. Dr. Lynch's scholarly work includes
national and international publications in books and peer-reviewed journals, and
presentations for national associations and international research societies.
Prior to joining WSU, Dr. Lynch was a leader in autism programming for school
districts in eastern Washington and has done extensive training with
school-based professionals.
Participants will learn how to use differential assessment for ASD and related eligibility categories to inform intervention and IEP planning.
