Based on evaluations and comments from the 2022-23 trainings on the Rule on the Use of Aversive Treatment Procedures, we have revised this training in the following ways:
This online training will walk through the process for developing and implementing an aversive treatment plan. Consideration of the requirements of the rule will still be included, but the training will focus on the process.
The training will provide more examples and will include sample forms for data collection, conducting the FBA and for documenting staff training in students behavior intervention and aversive treatment plans.
The training has been lengthened to two hours.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a follow-up post-training discussion to help them write, implement and revise behavior intervention and aversive treatment plans.
This training will be repeated on the following dates:

Two OPI renewal units will be available for this training. The training will not be recorded.
